Terms of Service - Reader Support for langiteastern.com
Effective Date: November 18, 2025
Welcome to LangitEastern.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the reader support, subscription, or contribution services ("Services") that we offer through the LangitEastern.com platform ("Site"), which is managed using Google Publisher Center and Reader Revenue Manager.
By making a contribution, registering for a subscription, or making a payment ("Transaction") on our Site, you ("User" or "You") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
We offer two types of reader support:
- Contributions/Donations: Voluntary one-time or recurring payments to support journalism and operations at langiteastern.com. This service may or may not provide specific rewards (such as ad-free access), which will be explained at the time of the offer.
- Subscriptions: Recurring payments (e.g., monthly or annual) to gain access to premium content, exclusive features, or other benefits ("Subscription Benefits") specified on the Site.
2. Payments and Transactions
- Payment Processors: All Transactions are processed through secure third-party payment platforms, such as Google Pay or other processors integrated with Google Reader Revenue Manager.
- Data Storage: LangitEastern.com does not store your credit card information or bank account data. Such data is managed directly by the payment processor in accordance with their security standards.
- Currency: All transactions will be processed in the currency displayed on the payment page.
- Authorization: You represent that you are the rightful owner or have authorization to use the payment method you provide.
3. Refund Policy
Given the nature of digital content and journalism support:
- Contributions/Donations: All voluntary contributions are final and non-refundable.
- Subscriptions: Subscription payments are final and non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing cycle. No pro-rata refunds will be provided for the remainder of the subscription period.
- Exceptions: Exceptions may only be made if required by applicable law or in the event of a technical error from our system that results in double or incorrect billing.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You may manage and cancel your subscription at any time via your Google account settings or through the subscription management link provided by Google Reader Revenue Manager. Cancellation only stops billing in the future.
5. User Accounts and Access
- Access to Subscription Benefits is tied to the Google Account you used when making the Transaction.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- Access provided is personal, for non-commercial use, and must not be shared with others. Violation of this may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on LangitEastern.com, including articles, images, and logos, is the property of LangitEastern.com and is protected by copyright laws. Your payment grants you a limited license to access and read the content, not a license to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.
7. Data Privacy
Your use of these Services is also governed by our [Privacy Policy]. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your personal data.
8. Limitation of Liability
We provide the Services and content "as is." LangitEastern.com is not liable for any indirect losses or damages arising from your use or inability to use our Services.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on this page. By continuing to use the Services after such changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
